The art of noticing

I have seen recently some “the art of noticing” reels all over social media and honestly even tho it’s a super popular trend I really enjoy watching them. I enjoy especially because it shows how people recently started noticing the joy of the mundane moments. That’s all life is about if you ask me.
The simple, the slow things. Seeing the beauty in the way the curtains flow on a warm and slightly windy day, the way the sun shines through a window, the way the palms sway.
On our recent trip in Mauritius I decided to sometimes switch off my brain from all necessary worries that we get on a daily basis and just focus on the beautiful things around the corners that caught my eye. That made the whole trip much much better than I expected it.
I didn’t left our house without the camera, the journal and my pen. The camera to capture the little things in life, and the journal - to write all the things that made me happy.
