August in Mauritius

Mauritius is located in the Indian Ocean off the east-coast of Africa. Its the place where my husband is from, and the place where we go back every 2-3 years.
We decided to go this year in August since the weather in Japan at that time is absolutely awful, its hot and humid and unbearable whereas in Mauritius its winter time. Winter meaning it’s around 15-25 degrees - perfect weather.
I never really take it into consideration to document our airplane trips since most of the time we take night flights and its really hard to photograph when you are tired and jet-lagged at the same time. But this holiday I made promise to myself that I will try to document our trip as much as I can starting the moment we enter the plane. To make things worst, our first flight from Osaka to Dubai that was supposed to depart at 23:45, departed 5 hours later, now you can imagine being at the airport in the middle of the night trying to keep your eyes open for 5 hours straight, when your body wants to just sleep. But eventually we boarded. When we reached Dubai it was mad rush, we ran from our arrival gate to the next gate just to make sure we don’t miss our second flight to Mauritius. Luckily we were able to board the second flight.
At last we reached Mauritius in the evening and went straight to bed. We tried to take the first week slow and not do many things since we were beyond exhausted. But beside all this dramatic trip, I did try my best to take every day few shots for the first few days. Please check them out and let me know what you think! :)
