Day at the beach in Ashiya, Japan

By Documentary Family Photographer Sanïa Spiri

This place is probably one of our most favorite place around Ashiya to be on weekends or public holidays. It’s not a pretty tropical looking beach but it’s almost always quiet and pretty relaxing. Near the beach there is an area where kids can ride bicycles, scooters or just have fun in the at the playground. On top of that there is also a barbecue area that needs to be pre booked in advance.
So, this past weekend after almost 5 months the weather was +17 degrees, we woke up early in the morning, packed some snacks, drinks and head to the beach. On the way there we stopped at the local supermarket and grabbed lunch, because we figured that better stay at the beach as long as we can and not having to rush. And… of course I did bring my little camera with me, since I absolutely adore the documentary this was the perfect opportunity for me to snap couple of shot of my husband, my daughter and our dog. So please enjoy the photographs below that I captured on that day.
