The calm after the storm
It’s March, and I don’t know how could I forget that when the weather changes, colds and allergies arrive at the door with express delivery. I was so looking forward to this bright sunny weather and higher temperatures (Im writing this while outside the temperature is “feels like 2” windy and rainy).
Last weekend the weather was amazing, we spent both days outside, riding bike, running and playing football. Sat outside, soaked the sunshine, and ate donuts. If you are in Japan at the moment run to Mister Donut and try the heart looking donut with raspberry filling and chocolate bar. Its a donut sent from heaven.
So then, we decided to go out to Kobe and get a dinner, walk around a bit and go back home.
Then Monday came, T woke up with itchy ears and itchy throat, I had no clue that over the weekend the pollen was on high alert and made everybody sick! She stayed at home, didn’t go to school and the only thing she wanted to do is eat chocolate and watch “Bluey” or stay outside on the sun.
Now I don’t know how should I feel about March and Spring in general, should I get excited and arm myself with lenses and cameras for the upcoming cherry blossoms around us or should I arm myself with antihistamines, tissues, hot tea and patience. Only time will tell.
